Notification of Project

 

1.0  This notification is provided to inform and advise Vendor of Record, Pre-Qualified, General Contractors (Appendix A) of a project proposed by the Lambton Kent District School Board.

This notification of project shall be considered as a supplement to the Bid Documents for the project and as such will become part of the tender and contract documents.

Project Description/Scope of Work: 

The Intent of this Request for Bid is to obtain bids to perform for the Phase 3 Renovations indicated in the specifications document for AA Wright Public School

Project Consultant:  1721 Architects.

2.0  Tendering Schedule:

Notification of Project: January 5, 2022

RFT issue:  January 6, 2022

Mandatory Site Meeting: to be announced when RFT posted

RFT Submission deadline: January 31, 2022

Project start date: to be announced when RFT posted 

The Purchaser may amend any timeline, including the Submission Deadline, without liability, cost, or penalty, and within its sole discretion. 

3.0  Execution of Contract

 

The Successful Proponent(s) will be required to acknowledge the Board’s purchase order / CCDC Contract which will incorporate all of the terms and conditions of the Request for Tender, within seven (7) calendar days of issuance for the provision of these services. If a selected proponent fails to acknowledge our Purchase Order / CCDC Contract within seven (7) calendar days of issuance, the Board may in its sole and absolute discretion and without incurring any liability, rescind the selection of that Proponent and execute the forfeiting of the Bid Bond.
