Notification of Planned Procurement (NPP)

 

Title:Pest Management Services
Location:For all Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) Locations
Description of Procurement:Pest management services including application of insecticides and pesticides, inspections, placement of bait stations and humane trapping of animals including but not limited to skunks, racoons, possums as required.
Conditions for Participation:
  1. In accordance with the Province of Ontario Procurement Restriction Policy, this RFQ is open to Suppliers that are headquartered outside of the United States of America unless the Supplier can demonstrate they have more than 250 full-time employees in Canada.
     
  2. Any Proponent that is intending to this RFQ, is required to be registered for the bid by the Registration deadline, and those that are not previously deemed qualified by the LKDSB will be sent an invitation to submit to the LKDSB Contractor Qualification which will be required to be completed in addition to the submission requirements outlined in Appendix B – RFQ Particulars.

     
  3. The respondent must be qualified and maintain their qualification status in accordance with the LKDSB Contractor Qualification and Onboarding Program, effective July 8, 2024. Bidders who are not currently qualified under the existing LKDSB program, or whose qualification has expired, will be provided with a link to the Contractor Qualification requirements after the Registration Period ends. These bidders must complete and submit their Contractor Qualification application before the bid closing date. Following submission of the Contractor Qualification the LKDSB will review the application to determine if the respondent’s qualification is approved and they meet the Mandatory Requirements for this RFQ.

2-stage Bid Criteria: 
  1. Mandatory Technical Requirements:
    1. The respondent is required to be qualified and maintain their qualified status, as per the LKDSB Contractor Qualification and Onboarding Program effective July 8, 2024. 
    2. Buy Ontario Act (Public Sector Procurement), 2025: The respondent must have a publicly known business presence in Ontario.
    3. Be licensed with an appropriate exterminator, operator and trapping license.

       
  2. Evaluated Criteria:
    1. Apply an integrated pest management program
    2. Response time
