Fire Suppression Systems Inspection and Maintenance Services

Description of Procurement:
Required inspection and maintenance of the fire alarm, fire extinguishers, standpipes and hose systems, emergency lighting and exit signs, fire pumps and kitchen suppression systems at LKDSB facilities.
Conditions for Participation:
In accordance with the Province of Ontario Procurement Restriction Policy, this RFQ is open to Suppliers that are headquartered outside of the United States of America unless the Supplier can demonstrate they have more than 250 full-time employees in Canada.
The Respondent must be qualified and maintain their qualification status in accordance with the LKDSB Contractor Qualification and Onboarding Program, effective July 8, 2024. Respondents who are not currently qualified under the existing LKDSB program, or whose qualification has expired, will be provided with a link to the Contractor Qualification requirements after the Registration Period ends. These Respondents must complete and submit their Contractor Qualification application before the bid closing date. Following submission of the Contractor Qualification the LKDSB will review the application to determine if the Respondent’s qualification is approved and they meet the Mandatory Requirements for this RFQ.

2-stage Bid Criteria:
The Respondent is required to be qualified and maintain their qualified status, as per the LKDSB Contractor Qualification and Onboarding Program effective July 8, 2024.
The Respondent must be able to respond within the response time classifications provided in Schedule 1 - Schedule of Deliverables, Rates, and Specific Provisions, section 1.2.
